Behold, the amphitheatre on the cliffs of Hell

When I set out for Lyonnesse,
A hundred miles away,
The rime was on the spray,
And starlight lit my lonesomeness
When I set out for Lyonnesse
A hundred miles away.

Ashinosya is what I call my music when it’s instrumental i.e. no vocals and this is something that I generally do with Everton and that’s how it will be at Halzephron, Gunwalloe, Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall during the above advertised gig. This is all part of the splendid enterprise that is Barefoot Kitchen and their musical associates Tinderbox Records.

This is how the amphitheatre looks.

What would bechance at Lyonnesse
While I should sojourn there
No prophet durst declare,
Nor did the wisest wizard guess
What would bechance at Lyonnesse
While I should sojourn there.

If you can’t make it to Cornwall but could possibly get to Bristol there is an alternative way of witnessing the Ashinosya experience on Saturday 18th August at the Adam & Eve at Hopechapel Hill, Bristol where we will be playing from about 9 till 12. I thoroughly recommend this evening as we will be sharing the bill with Jocasta. We’ve never shared a gig with her like that and it is definitely going to be fun. There should be a lot of people there and I think the musical combination will be killing.

When I came back from Lyonnesse
With magic in my eyes,
All marked with mute surmise
My radiance rare and fathomless,
When I came back from Lyonnesse
With magic in my eyes!
